Spring CAR Maintenance CHECKLIST

Spring car maintenance is important to make sure that any wear and tear incurred over the Kentucky winters doesn't cause problems this spring and summer. It's also important to make sure your vehicle has all the fluids it needs to perform properly.

Spring maintenance should include:

1. A thorough inspection of the cooling system. Sometimes time, wear and/or cold weather can cause issues with your cooling system, such as leaks or cracks. Antifreeze and coolant levels should also be checked and topped off if necessary.

2. A tire and tire alignment check.

3. An A/C check.

4. A battery check.

5. An oil change (if due) and tire rotation.

It's also a good idea to thoroughly clean your car to remove any chemicals or salt that could cause rusting or build-up down the road.
